Ingredients
- 250 gram Marrowfat Peas
- 1 Onion
- Pickled Vegetables
- 100 gram Bacon
Instructions
- Cut the onion in rings and caramelize half a onion in a baking pan. The other half you can serve raw (if you like).
- Cook the fresh marrowfat peas in water for about 10 minutes. Don't use any salted water, since this will affect the texture of the beans.
- Bake the bacon till crispy.
- Serve the peas with the different toppings, syrup, piccalilly sauce and sweet & sour vegetables.
