Shrimps and whisky sauce are a classic combination; especially during Christmas Dinners. To make it more fulfilling, I added some extra vegetables and lettuce to the recipe. However, if you want to make a more traditional dish: you just need to serve the shrimps, whisky sauce and 2 leaves of lettuce. Enjoy!
Shrimps, Whisky Sauce & Little Gem

Ingredients
- 2 Little Gem
- 20 Cherry Tomatoes
- 300 gram Shrimps
- 100 gram Radishes
- Some Spring Onion
- 2 tbsp Cream
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- 3 tbsp Mayonaise
- 1 shot Whisky
- ½ tsp Chili Paste or Sambal
- ½ Lemon
Instructions
- Cut and wash the lettuce, tomatoes, radishes and spring onions.
- Grill the shrimps and season with some salt & pepper.
- Make the sauce by whisking the cream till fluffy. Then add the mayo, ketchup, chili, zest and juice of half a lemon, and the shot of whisky. Season with salt & pepper.
- Ready to plate!
